Event Charter School Leadership Summit

The Charter Schools Development Center (CSDC) and CharterVoice are pleased to announce the first ever Charter School Leadership Summit: "Staying Focused on the Kids." The Leadership Summit will take place on March 8-9 (with key pre-summit events on March 7) in Sacramento, CA.

Designed around the mission of providing high quality education programs for our students, this intensive Leadership Summit will combine substantive sessions presented by experts from CSDC and leading minds across the nation as well as best practice sharing from veteran California charter school leaders. The summit will also include networking opportunities with your local legislators and other charter schools, student panels and performances, and plenty of fun!

Key seminars will include:
- How to Maintain Mission and Innovation in the Face of High Stakes State Testing and No Child Left Behind
- Ensuring the Future of Non-Site-Based Charter Schools
- What Charter School Funders and Lenders Are Looking For
- Not Just Bake Sales: Effective Parent and Community Involvement
- Developing Students as Leaders

The Charter School Leadership Summit is an exciting opportunity to exchange critical information while coming together as a community around a shared mission of diversity, choice, and innovation for the charter school movement as a whole.
