NACSA is pleased to announce that Geoffrey Canada, CEO of Harlem Children’s Zone, will deliver the keynote address at this year's Annual Conference. A much sought-after speaker, Mr. Canada enjoys a national reputation as both an advocate for and expert on issues concerning violence, children and community redevelopment.

Based on member feedback from the online conference content survey, the NACSA Ad-Hoc Conference Committee and NACSA staff are working hard to develop highly interactive and practice-oriented sessions including the following plenary topics:
· Charter Schools and Results: No Excuses, Some Excuses or Status Quo?
· Authorizers and Oversight: Where is the Line Between Effective Accountability and Intrusive Regulation?

A further description of Mr. Canada and these plenary topics is available in this flyer.
