Our Conference Overview and Agenda provides an overview of the session schedule followed by the complete agenda with session descriptions and facilitators. 

CONCURRENT BREAKOUT SESSIONS

The schedule features 25 different workshops and discussion roundtables focused on charter school authorizing practices (including oversight and evaluation) and related research and policy developments.

Workshops and roundtable discussions will be highly interactive and several will give specific attention to how the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) will affect charter schools and authorizers.  Workshops will be structured around practical problem-solving and case-study exercises, facilitated by experienced authorizers and expert consultants.

PLENARY SESSION TOPICS  

Like our concurrent breakout sessions, our two plenary sessions will be highly participatory and are intended to generate thoughtful discussion about where charter schools are in their development, where they are headed, and what the authorizer's role can be in advancing the growth and development of quality charter schools.
